My pearl

I've been doing my work day in and day out, I get so tired that my head gets full of doubt.
I work on my homework that is suposed to be "fun", but still I really wish that it would just be done.
I let my mind drift from reality to this beautiful pearl, one that would be the envy of any rich earl.
And if you were to see it from afar, it would defenitly make you think you were gazing at a bright star.
But I would rather give it away to someone I knew, If it ment I could spend more time with the pearl that is you.
