If Only You Knew

My eye keeps turning to you,
I only reach for those that I can't love,
I'm trapped in his grasp but I truly want you!
If only I had met you sooner,
If only I could tell you the truth.
I know you see me when he kisses my lips,
I feel so embarrassed I can't look you in the eyes,
How can you know when he's in our way?
If only you had known me before I met him,
If only you knew the truth in my heart.
I can finally talk with you alone,
But my mouth cannot form those words,
So I talk about things only you know about!
If only you knew my pain,
If only you can understand my fears for you.
We laugh and play jokes like normal,
We talk about our common interests,
I know it seems like nothing is wrong but my pain is killing me!
If only I can hold your hand,
If only you can hear these words coming from my mouth.
I have dreamed about me saying these words,
But I don't know how you would take them,
If only, if only,
You knew,
About me.

What Happened To Usagi Today

Well let's see shall we? I was called to the councilor today. We were talking and I knew he was trying to disprove Usagi in any way possible. He just doesn't understand our mind. We're different than most, you can't figure us out. I even gave him a chance by giving him this website but he turned it down. Well, excuse me, I'm sorry if you don't want to know why I am the way I am! So much for trying to understand me! I was so mad I felt like Usagi was going to snap any moment. Be very glad I kept repeating my poems and Emilie Autumn's songs in my head.
By the way, while I'm venting to my readers, Emilie Autumn is an amazing singer. She inspired lots of the poems. Listen to her if you have nothing to do one day! I'm listening to her right now. Look up Willow, it's my favorite song right now.
Sorry I went off on a tangent. Anyway, I had vent a little after that. You think you know me and my mind but you're sadly mistaken, my councilor (I'll not mention his name, but he knows who he is. Not who I am!). I am myself, sorry if I'm not like the other student in school. It's my life!
If you read this whole thing, I thank you for listening!

The Fiddler - Inspired by Celtic Woman's Máiréad Nesbitt

She tunes her fiddle,
Plays a few notes and gets ready offstage,
The song ends and she steps into darkened hall.
She starts playing slow, letting the music fill the room.
She counts down the seconds slowly as she dances to her own melody,
An impish smile creeps on her face as the tempo increases.
Her fingers keeping the strings in place for each note,
The song is now in full swing.
She spins and twirls in time with her playing, increasing the magic of the melody.
Playing as she has always done, keeping the listeners enchanted.
The tempos fast pace stays until she ends with a flourish.
Thunderous applause greets the end as she steps off,
Letting the next song keep the audience spellbound for a while longer.

Me and You

You tell me your plans for tomorrow and on,
Sorry, but I don’t see me in them.
You have everything figured out for yourself,
But I’m still figure myself out.
You have everything you need,
I’m still trying to find my list.
You know exactly what you want from your life,
I’m still second guessing myself.
You can tell everything your heart means,
I’m still picking up the pieces from last time.
You follow all the rules and never break one,
I’m the wild child trying to break them all.
You go the church without a word of complaint,
I’m sleeping in from last night.
You have the grades all perfect in rows,
I’m falling behind and having fun doing it.
You live the life set before you,
I’m going my own way.
You wait for me to catch up to you,
But you don’t know,
That I’m already far in front of you,
Running my own race.

Kiss Me When You Say You Love Me

I’ve lived a short life but still felt something,
You hold my hand and lead me around,
Like a puppy on a lease.
You make me feel guilty with a few words,
Yet I’m waiting for you,
To kiss me when you say you love me.
I’m told I’m lucky to have someone like you,
But I think you’re mistaken,
I’m a stronger girl than you thought,
You’re lucky to have me,
And you better kiss me when you say you love me.
Holding hands is great,
Hugs are alright,
But if you love me,
If you truly love me,
You better kiss me when you say you love me.

Untitled- By Ishymaru

Once you are dead, I will not be sad,
When it is sunny, I will not be sad,
When it is cloudy, I will not be sad,
When it is raining, I will not be sad,
But when the rain stops, when the rainbow shows,
Thats when I will be sad for it reminds me of all the colors you used to show.

My Journey - Based on a song I heard

Begining-
Nothing ever starts,
Life is short so better start right now.
Journey-
A weak spirit travels on,
For a life always dreamed of.
Stories-
Ones never heard of before,
Keeping you warm during a cloudy night.
Tears-
Hide them from others,
It's something you can't really stop.
Worries-
Is this road safe?
Will I live to see the next full moon?
Traveller-
What you're now called,
And what you shall always remain.
Friends-
New ones to meet,
And to help you reach the end.
Destination-
Dreamless nights spent wondering,
If you'll ever reach your dream.
Tales-
To tell your children of their land,
And to pass on a legacy of your travels.
Ending-
The dream land you've been waiting for,
And a place to rest after my journey. And yours.

A Trail Unused - Dedicated to Carissa

The wind through her hair as she rides across the field.
Across the field, across the creek, to the woods.
Her horse keeping up the pace she sets.
The branches whipping across her legs and face.
Her horse unharmed in the dash.
The wind picks up as the woods thin out and disappear,
Her hidden glade away from the city noises
Only noises from the hooves on the hidden path,
The horses' even breathing,
And her own heartbeat echoing in her ears from the dash.
On a trail never used, not known,
By any but herself and her horse.
Heading to a place to think alone in natures' glen
Following a trail unused.

Usagi Hikari Here!

I'm here to talk a little about what I've learned about my blog.
1) Not many people look at my blog
2) I like typing poems in my Media class
3) I have one person that looked at my blog from Slovakia (Thanks to whoever you are)
4) No-one posts stuff except for me

So now if you look at my blog and see this post, I'd like for you to comment. I will then dedicate a poem to you if you want and create a poem around what I thought when I saw your post.

Elements

Water, all around us
Air, keeping us alive
Fire, a dangerous beauty
Earth, our planet itself
Spirit, unique for all

A Necklace Changed A Girl

A religion.
A friend with new jewelry.
A girl curious about a symbol and its meaning.
The pentagram etched into her mind.
The beauty of the image, not going away.
The religion speaking to her.
Changing her life without telling another,
Learning in secret.

A fair in town,
A stall on the outskirts,
A necklace speaking to her mind.
The necklace never taken off.
The pentagram at her throat,
The new friend with the same necklace.
Learning where she belongs,
Changing out a life for a new soul.

Lost, Lonely, Ignored Girl

In a state near the ocean,
In a small town no-one plays attention to,
In a close-knit community where everyone knows the next,
In an ordinary looking house.
Where a mask is worn everytime she leaves,
Where the house is not a refuge, but a prison
Where screaming and yelling is heard at night,
Where she lives.
She hides away in her room,
She cries yet no-one hears, nor cares to hears,
She lives in anger, fear, and pain,
She is a lost girl.
Her friends see a fun-loving writer,
Her teachers see a hard worker with wierd grades,
Her family sees a rebel, a girl who never does what she's told,
Her only home is inside a story.
In a room playing music,
Where a girl cries in the night,
She reads about her heros living far away,
Her books keep her sane in her own world,
A lost girl only known as me.
