Erased Out Part 7

Alienia followed the silent girl down the hall for a few minutes until she opened a door into the most decorated classroom yet.

Paintings and drawings covered the walls that weren't covered  by tall bookcases overflowing with several volumes of each book. Desks were the same two person tables but easels stood waiting on the end of each row. Celia giggled quietly as Alienia stood awestruck.

"All artwork was done by past and current students. Sculptures and other larger works are in a separate room. The table here is open, if I remember correctly." Celia whispered as she pointed over at the desk nearest to the window in the very front row. "Another girl sits at the desk, but she only shows up for class every now and then since the inci- never mind."

Alienia wished Celia would continue, but the girl stayed silent. Both put their bags on the desk when Alienia took out her lunch from her bag along with a smaller notebook that held a pen in the spiral.

"So lunch?" She could tell Celia was choosing her words carefully.

-Lead on.-

Celia led her down the hall and to the downstairs, where the older classes were being held. The bright outside blinded both for a moment, but Celia kept walking along the path. Alienia started to see more of the campus than she had seen earlier.

The building she just exited out of was connected to others by a large arch that reminded her of an old university's style. The pathway cut through the grass that was surprisingly green in early November. The trees that lined the path and dotted the lawn had lost most of their leaves, and those fallen leaves were in neat piles at the base of their corresponding tree. The girls followed the path until a bench at the side of the path came into view. Celia rushed forward to the bench and brushed the leaves off the seat.

"This is the best spot in the Spring. These are all Cherry Trees and they bloom so beautifully. There's also a legend that surrounds them." Celia sat down and motioned for Alienia to sit next to her. "If two petals land in two lunches, you and the other person will be true lovers."

-Is it true?-

"It happened to the current Dean."

Celia and Alienia turned to see Kyoya and an upperclassman on the path a few feet away. It was the older one that spoke.

"A petal landed in the Dean's lunch and another landed in her boyfriend's. They had married and were about to get children," he took a breath. "An accident claimed her husband and unborn child."

Alienia stiffened and her lunch fell to the ground. Kyoya glanced at her before the upperclassman continued.

"Now that I think about it, our Honour student looks like the Dean's love. Pitch black hair, fair skin, and big blue eyes. Maybe our Dean was biased to who got the scholarship-."

Kyoya nudged the speaker. "Time to stop, Tristan. Let's move along."

The upperclassman shrugged, but walked on.

A/N:
Many Grazie's to Ishy! He typed this out while I was working on part eight.
Now this part. Probably the funnest scene to write out so far. I like when the antagonist comes into view! A note for those who care: Tristan was supposed to have been the good guy! And with what I've written so far, he's still an ass. And I gave him the cool name! Why can't characters be good and stay in the roles they were supposed to be?
Anyway, say thanks to Ishy, even if it did take him a while to type it out. Now I found food, drink, and I have enough time for (hopefully) another part before I have to shower. Ja ne!
